Dr Paul Gallop
BDS (Lond) LDS RCS Eng DGDP (UK) - Principal Dentist
Paul qualified at the Royal London Hospital in 1984, where he was then invited to stay on as a House Officer to work in the hospital’s Restorative Department. He then worked in general practice until 1988, when he established the Motcomb Street Dentist where he has been ever since.
Paul is an active member of the British Dental Association. He currently sits on the Metropolitan Branch Council and in 2005 was elected President.
Paul attends multiple lectures and seminars yearly to learn about the newest technologies and materials around, including those at the British Dental Association Annual Dental Conference and Exhibition.
Paul’s interests outside work are going to as many Formula One races as he can, cycling, spending time with his family, and of course, Coco the cat.
Sandra Huttly
Practice Manageress and Dental Nurse
Sandra has been with us from the very beginning, working with Paul since 1988. She is a very experienced and caring nurse, and loves every hour spent in the dental surgery! Her organisational skills are vital to the successful running of the practice.

Working with Paul, Sandra creates a relaxed and happy atmosphere in the surgery. We hope that you remember the live entertainment and not the procedures themselves!
​
Sandra also works at reception to answer your queries and book appointments; and attends courses in order to gain a wider knowledge of sterilization, radiation and new dental techniques.
​
Outside of work, Sandra enjoys spending time with her daughter Natasha, and their dog, Jess.

Anna Sarisvili-Gorevic
DipDH DipD - Hygienist
Anna is a Dental Hygienist and Dental Therapist, she qualified at the Royal London Hospital in 2014.
She is very keen on providing great patient care and continues to update her professional knowledge through reading dental publications and attending official courses.
Anna’s passion is opera and she achieved a Grade 8 in singing, plays the piano and sings in a choir. One of her performing experiences was at the Royal Albert Hall with the Goldsmiths Union. She also speaks fluent Russian and Lithuanian.

In her spare time Anna likes reading and attending classical music concerts.

Ciara Mc Kenna
Dip DH RCS (ENG), Dip DT RCS (Eng) - Hygienist
Ciara first joined the Motcomb Street Dentist team in 2016 as Dr Gallop’s dental nurse, while completing her dental hygiene and therapy training at the King’s College London Dental Hospital.
​
Upon graduating in 2018, Ciara worked in Community Dental Services treating adults with special needs and children with high dental decay rates. Since then, she has returned to Motcomb Street Dentist to work as our hygienist.
​
Ciara is able to give our patients the highest quality care, whilst providing the tools to maintain excellent oral hygiene. Ciara is currently undergoing further training in facial aesthetics.
​
Outside of work, Ciara enjoys keeping active by going to the gym and swimming.

Luciana Maciel
Hygienist
Luciana Originally qualified as a dental surgeon from the Universidad Nacional de Tucumán in 2013 and has dedicated over 5 years to dentistry in Argentina.
In November 2019, Luciana moved to London, where she spent over 2 years as a Dental Receptionist/Nurse.
Driven by a special interest in preventive dentistry, she transitioned to work as a Dental Hygienist and Therapist.
Being committed to staying at the forefront of dental knowledge and technology reflects her passion for providing the best possible care to her patients.
Outside of work Luciana is an avid traveller and cherishes moments spent with her family.
Julia Wilson
Hygienist
Julia’s journey in dentistry began at Kings College Dental school where she undertook a dental surgery assistant course, with a keen interest in periodontology, she chose to study dental hygiene at Leeds Dental School; on graduation she enjoyed interesting and diverse work in both hospital and general practice in Yorkshire.

Julia joins Paul with a wealth of experience of working in private practices across central London. She is dedicated to delivering a high standard of patient care, with a calm nature, friendly manner and gentle techniques that have made her popular with her patients. She is always enthusiastic and keen to constantly update her dental knowledge to benefit patients, often attending international conferences and is also a member of many associations and London study groups. In addition to her clinical career she has enjoyed lecturing to fellow dental hygienists, moderating and organising team congress programmes. She is a keen writer who has written blogs for corporate dental companies and dental journals. In May 2023 Julia was the first hygienist to be awarded an honorary membership of the Association of Dental Implantology in recognition for her years of hard work.

Away from the dental chair Julia enjoys creative writing/screen writing, film, photography, theatre, ballet and pilates.
